The Hampton John Peters Humphrey Foundation presented the screening of the documentary film: The Boy Who Was Bullied, to a standing-room only crowd at the Hampton High Community Theatre. This documentary, produced and directed by Greg Hemmimgs at External link opens in new tab or windowHemmings House Pictures Ltd. was inspired by the book of the same name by Anne Scott. It tells about Hampton native, John Peters Humphrey, through the eyes of a disabled 13-year-old girl, Abbie Godreau, also from Hampton. The Mass Community Choir and Step in Time Senior Dance Troupe complemented the evening, ending with light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the film producer, the author and individuals featured in the film.
